Automatic Salvation and Heaven if you are a Church-goer? Find Out!

IF YOU GO TO CHURCH, ARE YOU AUTOMATICALLY SAVED? FIND OUT!

We have just begun work on this brand new page.  We would like to show a break-down of the different churches/denominations and what they teach about being Saved. Why as Baptists do we stand out among the rest in this area? We do earnestly contend for the faith.

This is just a start:

Catholic
They believe in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and Mary (and they worship all as being equal)
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Mary + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Episcopalian
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Lutheran
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Methodist
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit  + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Church of God
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit  + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Church of Christ
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit  + WORKS in order to be Saved.

Charismatic (of all kinds)
This is a religion that mixes faith in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit + WORKS (i.e. speaking in tongues; gifts of the Spirit such as healing) in order to be Saved.

Baptist (Independent and several others; be careful though, some that say they are Baptist are not Baptist in doctrine)
This is a way of life, not a religion…where the believers believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Works are NOT a part of the equation in obtaining Salvation.
You are Saved through faith in Christ and Christ alone – works are not involved in the salvation process, but rather an evidence that the belief has been applied by faith first.

Ephesians 2:8-9  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
